It grinds almost as fast as an electric grain mill, says our millwright Patrick, who was the first to put the prototype into operation.

The advice and service was ecxellent. The mill was exceptionally well packaged. I’ve never seen anything like it. It couldn’t slip a millimetre during transport and everything was designed to be as light as possible in terms of weight. Been grinding my grain for 40 years, but with this mill it’s a dream. Mill rotates with

All in all, the mill is worth the money. it is top processed and looks great, the grinder is 1 sahne and our spelt is ground wonderfully. the only problem is that the mill turns with the inertia of the drive and the grinding stone. if you have it set up on a smooth surface, as is the case with us and our granite slab.

What types of grain can you grind with the MH 8 hand mill?

Normaler Speisemais, wie in Österreich oder Deutschland üblich, kann mit den Handmühlen gemahlen werden. Es ist jedoch kraftaufwändiger. Es gibt sehr viele verschiedene Maisarten.

Vor allem in Italien gibt es sehr alte, besonders harte Sorten, von denen wir wissen, dass man einige davon nicht mahlen kann. Wir können leider nicht alle Maisarten testen und anführen.

Generell können keine ölhaltigen Saaten gemahlen werden wie:

• Leinsamen
• Senfkörner
• Sonnenblumenkerne
• Mohn
• Kürbiskerne
• Nüsse
• Mandeln

Aufgrund der Konsistenz können Sie nicht mahlen:

• Salz
• Zucker
• Tee
• Blüten
• Blätter
• Knospen
• Gräser
• Sprossen
• kleine Hölzer
• getrocknete kleine Früchte und Beeren
• Kastanien
• diverse Kerne

Es ist nicht empfehlenswert Kaffee zu mahlen.

Farbe und Geruch dringt in den Mahlstein ein, die Reinigung ist sehr schwierig. Wenn ausschließlich Kaffee gemahlen werden soll, setzen Sie sich bitte mit uns in Verbindung
